A Breathless roleplaying game of amnesiac prisoners escaping a bizarre mechanical labyrinth
Latest Updates from Our Project:
April Update

Greetings and felicitations, test subjects,
*ding*
As of April 3rd, the body of Facility is written and off for editing, crude human hands typed out the language you see above, but superior machines will improve it. This puts us ahead of schedule for delivery.
Over the next two weeks, we will be adding the backer requested pages of GM advice and solo-play guidelines, with assistance from René-Pier Deshaies-Gélinas, the original creator of the Breathless system, cleaning up the art and designing the character sheet.
With any luck, the next update should be to let you know that the zine is off to the printers, and eventually to your normal, human hands.
Thank you for your attention and good luck in there.

MARCH

Greetings test subjects. The funds from your human banking institutions are expected to be deposited any day now. In the meantime, our learning/writing subroutines have been formatting and drawing. Our metrics indicate that March will be the best time to complete the remainder of the Facility, so prepare yourself for larger, future updates. In the meantime, enjoy this inspiring image of a test subject successfully deploying a single-use science core against one of out retrieval androids.
Yours enigmatically,
The Proctors

Holy cow, 452 of you believed in this project enough to back it. I am truly flabbergasted. Thank you all, from the bottom of my ink-spattered heart.
What's next? The work, my friends. I will be putting as many days a week in as it takes to get this thing into your hands as soon as possible.
Currently, Facility is:
100% written and 80% illustrated. Once the art is done, I will be rearranging the layout to allow for some new content, and then sending it through the editing process.
In the meantime, if you happen to have any spare change left at this point in the Zine Month, why not have a look at Chiron's Doom from Nick Bate? He's releasing a print edition with some fun extras!
Also, if you like what I've been putting out on my own, you may want to take a peek at Stoneburner, a solo-friendly take on the Breathless system coming along this spring, built by René-Pier Deshaies-Gélinas, the original creator of the Breathless system, and illustrated by yours truly!

Once again though, thank you for your support on Facility, you all have helped to bring my terrible, mechanical dream to life, and I am so damned excited to get it done and on to your tables!

You marvelous folks have well and truly exceeded all expectations. Thank you all for helping make my first paper RPG a reality. An especially strong shout-out to those of you who spread the word beyond Twitter, the internet is vast and deep, and it's good to have guides.
Thank you again,
Galen

That's just incredible. You folks sure do like getting chased by scary robots in the dark!
There are no stretch goals to this campaign, but just between you and I, it's likely that this level of support, way beyond what I expected, will result in extra art, more weird science, and extra pages of Facility! The biggest holdup at this point will be making sure that extra goodies won't impact the delivery timeline.

If I may though, now that you've helped me hit my goal, I'd like to mention two other places on the web you may want to look for excellent and free TTRPG content. I check both of these every morning over coffee, and both writers have meant a lot to me in my own creative efforts.
The Indie RPG Newsletter, by Thomas Manuel, is a cozy series of posts on the quickly evolving world of Indie games, combined with deep dives on topical material. His series on cities is an excellent place to begin!

The Throne of Salt blog, on the other hand, is like opening an RPG book and finding out that someone has left pages and pages of excellent & exhaustingly researched campaign material in there for you to find. Dan covers a wide variety of topics, but the link below is to a Mothership-adjacent favorite of mine.
Thank you for your attention friends, and as this project has made its target, feel free to sound off with your other favorite upcoming games in the replies!
